NEON / HELP & INFORMATION

Neon support

Help with your next set.

Email support@sweatypotato.ca. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Neon version (shown in You → Settings), exercise, counting method, and what happened. Please avoid unrelated personal information.

Start a workout

Open Train, choose Squats, Push-Ups, Jumping Jacks or Sit-Ups, select a counting method, and tap Start. Manual counting works for all four exercises. Handheld motion is available for squats; camera and compatible AirPods offer additional options. Routines in Train guides you through sets and rests. Neon requires iOS 26 or later.

Camera setup

Allow camera access when prompted, place your phone securely, and follow the framing guidance. Use even lighting and keep the joints needed for the exercise visible. Face the camera for squats and sit-ups. Setup does not count as a rep. If access was denied, enable Camera for Neon in iPhone Settings or choose Manual.

AirPods and handheld counting

Use compatible motion-enabled AirPods connected to your iPhone and allow Motion & Fitness access. Follow the movement setup and calibration shown in the app. For handheld squats, hold the phone securely and stand still briefly before moving. Keep Neon open while counting. After an interruption, check the readiness message and resume when offered.

The count looks wrong

Tracking estimates movement and may miss reps or mistake other movement for exercise. It does not assess exercise form. Try the setup guidance or switch to Manual. In Manual, use the correction controls before finishing. When troubleshooting controls offer Export count data or Export motion data, you can attach that file to a support email and tell us how many reps you performed. Exporting is optional; diagnostic labels do not change saved workout totals.

Save and resume

Use Finish or the workout’s save/exit control and wait for saving to complete. Guided routines can save a partial workout. If a save error appears, use Retry before leaving. Your saved progress stays on this iPhone; there is no account or cloud sync in this release.

Calories and milestones

Calories are approximate active-energy estimates using available workout information and saved body weight. Manual reps have no calorie estimate. Tap the calorie total for coverage details. Landmark milestones use estimated movement credits, not measured climbing or equivalent exercise effort.

Reminders and sound

Open You → Settings to manage reminders and sound. Workout sound controls are also available during a workout. Sounds respect Silent Mode, and app music steps aside for other audio.

Privacy and removing data

Read the Neon privacy policy for camera SDK metrics, local recordings and support information. Delete the app and its data in iPhone Settings to remove local records; Offload App keeps them. Exported files and backups are separate copies.

Exercise comfortably

Choose movements and effort suitable for you. Stop if you experience pain or feel unwell. Neon provides workout estimates, not medical advice or a form assessment.
